Bug/Issue Unable to delete "not existing" messages from inbox

    Hello All,
    We are using SmarterMail 8.0 Enterprise.
    My inbox shows two messages dated 01/01/1601, stating in the message body "This message no longer exists on this server." and having no subject. This messages are always in status "Unread" and can't be deleted at all using WebMail interface.

    As a result (probably) my Mac Mail client using IMAP is unable to load the headers and the content of inbox.

    Any ideas how to solve this issue and to delete them would be highly appreciated.

    Go into windows explorer and delete the 'inbox' subfolder for that user.

    Thanks for your prompt reply!
    Yet it has not solved the issue.
    I have moved the Inbox folder of the user to another folder outside of SmarterMail folder, but I am still seeing all the mails in the inbox, including the problematic two.

  4. Try reloading the domain from within SM or if that fails, restarting the SM service.

    The reason why you cant delete those mails is that another process is locking the file.
