Question SmarterMail only works on the server

    Hello,

    I Install SmarterMail 9.2 on windows server 2008 IIS 7.5 with P Plesk 10.4 and and the setup was okay.
    But he SmaterMail only work inside the server.
    When call for webmail out side the server it gives a error: server not found.
    Also the server has two ip, on dedicated and on share for all domains
    The installation was setup for the dedicated IP.
    If someone have any thoughts please let me know.

    Sounds like a DNS issue or the website is not bound to the dedicated IP

    That is what think it's, but I can find a solution on how to fix.

    You need to check your DNS records and your IIS bindings.

    1: Make certain you have all necessary ports open.

    2: Did you properly setup mapping between public static IP address of router and natted private IP address?

    3: Consider getting static IP addresses for your installation because without you cannot establish IN-ARPA [rDNS] and many e-mail servers will outright reject your e-mail as spam.

    4: If you post your domain name we can run further tests and better assist you with diagnoses.
