Log on to incoming mail server - ERROR

    I have customers who use MS Outlook to send mail, When the test is done to make sure the connection it comes up with the following error:
    Completed - Establish network Connection
    Completed - Find outgoing mail server (SMTP) - THIS IS NOT MY MAIL SERVER
    Completed - Find incoming mail server (POP3)
    FAILED - LOG ON TO INCOMING MAIL SERVER (POP3)
    Completed - Send test e-mail message
    The information I use is the information I use to login via a web browser, so I know I have entered the right information adn have the correct ports.
    All help would be grateful because when I try to send mail on outgoing server that fails as well.

    The problem seems to be that the local ISP is using Messagelabs.com for there mail and smartmail/my server is not allowing any interaction between the two.

    This has been sorted, there was a problem with the local ISP which has now been corrected.
